Presented by wine academic Markus J. Eser
In addition to Cava, the Spanish equivalent of Champagne, there will be white wines from Rías Baixas in Galicia, made from the famous Albariño grape, and Verdejo from Rueda in Castile.
Three classic Rioja red wines will then be presented at different stages of maturity, from Crianza to Reserva and Gran Reserva.
These classics will then be compared with wines from the higher-lying Toro and Ribera del Duero regions.
The exclusive wine tasting will be accompanied by a 4-course menu of Asian-inspired cuisine - with views over the rooftops of Düsseldorf, of course.
Hotel director Patrick Rausch will begin by welcoming guests and briefly explaining the b'mine concept, which stands out from other hotels thanks to its car lifts, rooftops, cocooning concept and digital orientation.
